About ✦ notokenclub

We are notokenclub, a bunch of builders, researchers and tinkerers from Chennai. We meet up to talk about AI and tech. Not to hype it, but to actually understand it and build with it. Anyone can walk in. No tokens required.

✦ We started notokenclub because the best conversations about AI happen in person, usually over chai, when nobody is trying to sell you anything.

Our Motive ✦

We're a group of people in Chennai who were tired of not having anyone to properly talk about AI and tech with. So we started meeting up every week. We talk about what's going on in AI, tech and business, help each other with whatever we're building, and end up making friends who care about getting better at this stuff.

Nobody's selling anything, and nobody is too new to join. You just show up and talk.

Knowledge Barter System ✦

It works both ways. Which one are you?

You're here to learn

You get to sit next to people who have actually built things and ask them the questions Google can't answer. One good conversation here can save you weeks of figuring it out alone.

You're here to stay sharp

You've already built the big systems, but new tools come out every week and you don't have time to try them all. The newer folks here have probably spent the last month playing with exactly those. You share what you know, they share what they've found.

03▮

For a long time we read plenty of papers and wrote none. Then we ran a researchathon with real problem statements and proper research, and three of our members wrote papers. Yours could be the fourth.
